It’s a party to celebrate all the nominees for a particular edition of the awards and also to liberate them on the need for a healthy competition.
The first nominees’ party was held at Shaunz Royale (formally Shaunz Lounge) in October 26th 2016.
The second nominees’ party was held at Fingerlicking Sport Bar in October 2017 while the third nominees’ party which was tagged “love meets music” was also held at Fingerlicking Sport Bar in 2018.
The fourth nominees’ party was held at Idanre Hills Resort, Idanre on August 31st 2018 while the fifth nominees’ party was held at Lah Lounge, Inside Dome premises, Akure on September 12th 2020.
The sixth nominees’ party was held at Erin Ijesha Waterfalls in Osun State on Saturday, September 11th 2021.
The seventh nominees’ party was held at Club Lah, Inside Dome Akure on Friday, September 30th 2022.
There was no Nominees’ party in 2023.
Nominees’ Party returned for the 9th OSMA Awards and it was held at Mardie Grazz Lounge on Friday, 11th Oct. 2024.
Nominees Party for the 10th OSMA Awards took place at Sterling Residence on Friday, 10th Oct. 2025.
